Rye flakes are a great addition to breads Rye flakes can be cooked similar to rolled oats. To enjoy a porridge, Bring 1 part rye flakes and 3 parts water, milk or any other liquid to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce to low heat and allow to simmer for about 15 mins, stirring occasionally.
