Dried Bay leaves have a fragrance is herbal, slightly floral, and has a similar flavour to oregano and thyme.
They are often used whole in Asian and European dishes (particularly French cuisine, and are important ingredient of Bouquet Garni.)such as soups, broths and homemade stock, slow cooked stews, and sauces.
