Description
Buckwheat flour can be used as an alternative to wheat flour. Because it does not contain gluten, you may like to add “binding” ingredients such as egg or xanthan gum. You can also mix buckwheat with other flours such as potato flour.
How to use: Buckwheat flour can be used to make excellent wheat-free pancakes. Simply make a batter using buckwheat flour, egg, milk and a pinch of salt. Leave the batter to stand in a refrigerator for 15-20 minutes, then spoon a small amount into a small lightly greased non-stick pan and fry.
You can also use buckwheat flour to make buckwheat noodles.
