Description
Alfalfa sprouts complement light meals such as salads at any time of the year. The slightly bitter, mildly nutty taste adds a distinctive flavour to salads, soups, dips and many other dishes.
Alfalfa sprouts contain vitamins A, B2, B3, C, D as well as numerous minerals and trace elements such as magnesium, iron, all 8 essential amino-acids, protein, chlorophyll and fibres.
SPROUTING INSTRUCTIONS Make sure you have our Super Sprouter Germinator How to use Alfalfa seeds for sprouting Before sprouting, rinse thoroughly in fresh water then soak for 4 hours.
For best results, sow seeds thinly. Germination time may vary with temperature. Amount per tray / jar: 1.5 tablespoons of seeds. Temperature: 18 – 22°C.
Rinse: Twice daily. Ready to eat: After approximately 6 to 8 days. Ingredients: Organically grown Alfalfa seeds.
